A Richmond Hill Original · Est. 1991

Gqeberha’s best curry, three decades running.

A family-run kitchen where the recipes haven’t changed and the welcome hasn’t either. Slow-cooked gravies, fresh-baked naan, and the flavours the bay grew up on.

Our Story

The Royal Delhi, a Richmond Hill original.

Founded in April 1991 by Krish Pillay, this family-run restaurant has stood the test of time — along the way becoming synonymous with quality and friendliness. Three decades on, the same family still runs the pass, still cooks the curries to order, and still knows most of the room by name.

A vast array of curry dishes at competitive prices, from a gentle korma to a vindaloo that means it. Dine in, take away, or order to your door.

“Best curry in Gqeberha.”
